Our Vision
Until recently, architectural design has almost exclusively been a service-based industry in which fully custom designs are provided to a client through extensive design work and drawings tailored specifically to one specific project.
Because of this, the average consumer has not been able to access the custom design services an Architect can offer. Instead most consumers & potential homeowners are limited to the countless lackluster house plans, spec homes, and subdivision designs available that lack creativity and relevance, lack the design influence of a trained architect, and have no real substance or backbone. The RAD Studio client understands that the environment in which they live matters tremendously. They want to live in the space they envision on dream boards, but for a price they can afford. As trained architects, we want to offer our knowledge, experience, and passion by now providing the majority of consumers a well-designed architectural ‘product’ that is attainable in price. Hiring an architect doesn't have to be only for those that can afford ‘custom design services’ anymore.
The average consumer & homeowner deserves access to more modern and thoughtful design at an attainable cost.
Our Vision is to see that ALL those who desire to live in a modern, well-designed dwelling have the ability to do so without compromising.
Our Mission is to bridge the gap between service-based architectural services and the senseless suburban residential construction that lacks design sensibility, by providing quality pre-designed architectural plan sets for purchase at an attainable price.
Simple, Unique Plans
We focus on plan sets that are simple in structure so they are easy to build and have modern materials with creative detail. We design these plans with consideration for modern/open living, energy savings, optimal daylighting, and ideal flow/connectivity between rooms. We think about how each space will feel & be experienced in real life.
Each of our plan sets will include the following:
3D Views of how the space will feel on the interior and exterior
Simple structure but also very modern forms & volumes
Efficiency in energy and space utilization
Modern materials, finishes, and fixtures
Indoor-outdoor spaces and connectivity to natural environments
Potential alternative construction methods
Design elements that feel unique and personal instead of generic
